Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Quick answers about how Itinero works as a job search platform, how analyses behave, what pricing looks like, and how your data is handled. If something is still unclear, contact us.

The product

What does Itinero actually do?

Itinero analyzes a job description against your CV and career context, helps you decide whether the role is right for you, then tailors your CV so your relevant experience is easier for ATS systems and recruiters to notice.

It also tracks roles, verdicts, tailored CVs, and decisions so you can see the bigger picture across your search.

Is this another job board?

No. Itinero does not list jobs and it does not try to match you to roles automatically.

You bring the role. Itinero helps you decide whether it fits your direction, tailor your CV for that opportunity, and keep the decision inside your search history.

How does tracking fit into Itinero?

Yes. Tracking is the memory layer around the main workflow: role analysis, tailored CV, and decision history.

Saved roles keep their verdict, status, scores, tailored outputs, and context, so you can compare opportunities instead of treating each application as a one-off task.

Who is it for?

Mid-career and senior professionals making deliberate moves.

If you care more about trajectory, leverage, compensation quality, and a manageable pipeline than sending fifty applications, this is the platform.

Does it work in languages other than English?

Yes. You can paste job descriptions and CVs in any language and Itinero will analyse them correctly.

The app interface is currently in English. Support for additional interface languages is coming.

Analyses & accuracy

How accurate are the salary estimates?

Itinero gives a band, not a fake-precision single number.

The output is directional and meant to tell you whether the compensation looks fair, low, or aggressive for someone with your profile and the role context.

What does trajectory impact mean?

Trajectory impact is the long-term effect of this move on where your career is heading.

Some roles pay more now but narrow your future options. Others accelerate scope, credibility, and the next title. The product makes that trade-off explicit.

How long does an analysis take?

The verdict arrives in seconds. Behind it, the engine is running the full analysis: role scoring, reasoning through fit, and output generation. Once saved, that role becomes part of your job search workspace.

Pricing & packs

Do I have to commit to a plan?

No. Start free and use Itinero at your own pace. If your search gets serious, Premium gives you 30 analyses a month for €12.90, cancel anytime. Or grab a one-time Extra Pack with 15 analyses if you just need a burst.

Do unused analyses expire?

Free analyses reset monthly, unused ones do not roll over. Paid analyses never expire and stay in your account until you use them.

Can I get a refund?

We do not offer refunds. If something went wrong on our end, email hello@itinero.io and we will look at it.

Data & privacy

What do you do with my CV?

It is used to run the analyses and related outputs you explicitly request.

It is not sold, and it is not used to train external models. You can delete your data from the account area.

Where is my data stored?

The app uses Supabase with authenticated user scoping and encrypted transport.

The app is hosted on Vercel with encrypted transport and authenticated user scoping.

Account

Can I share my account?

You technically could, but the product is built around a single person’s trajectory, CV, and analysis history.

Shared use degrades the value of the outputs.

How do I delete my account?

Use the Profile area once you are signed in.

If you need help, email hello@itinero.io and we will remove it manually.
